Canadian soprano Laura Nielsen has been praised for her “superb piani dynamic, heartfelt passion [and] outstanding stage presence” (Online Merker). In 2024, Nielsen performed the role of Freia in R. Wagner’s DAS RHEINGOLD at Theater Erfurt in Germany and was a Resident Artist with Teatro Nuovo Bel Canto Program. There, she covered the title role in the modern premiere of Carolina Uccelli’s 1836 bel canto opera, ANNA DI RESBURGO.
